This just in from the Bill Richardson camp: a response to the Why Tuesday? Candidate Challenge! I’m sitting in the rafters of a theater at Coe College in Cedar Rapids, IA liveblogging the MTV/MySpace presidential forum with Barack Obama, as I type this. So you all are actually hearing Governor Richardson’s response to the challenge before I do.
* Update: Just had a chance to listen to his response. Governor Richardson wants to make election day “more accessible to all Americans.” He goes on to outline the work he has done in New Mexico as and expresses his outrage about deceptive practices and dirty tricks in elections. Governor Richardson also tells us he wants to make Election Day a national holiday. Watch the video for his whole election reform plan.
