Post-election controversies are handled differently from state to state. Election Law @ Moritz has launched “a series of interactive maps that allow you to compare election laws across states. Our initial installment of maps consists of six maps analyzing the law of recounts and election contest lawsuits.” Check out the maps.

There is no doubt in my mind that there would be higher voter turnout on Saturday than Tuesday. Most people work on Tuesday, and getting to the polls (usually before or after work) and often standing in long lines can be a time-consuming hassle...
