This just in: Senator John Edwards’ response to the Why Tuesday? Candidate Challenge! That brings the total number of presidential candidates who have responded to 12 of 16. In the video, Edwards announces his support for full public financing of all congressional campaigns, paper ballots, a citizen congress and says we should “reconsider voting on Tuesday,” amongst other proposals.
We caught up with Senator Edwards in Los Angeles last March, and at that time he was undecided about what to do regarding a National Election Holiday and voting on Tuesday.

When you have public financing who gets to decide who gets the money? Could we have a thousand people running for a senate seat? Ik I could get money from the government I would run for office all of the time.
