The comment about Obama was amusing. He means well, but it’s a little odd to be saying that he hopes Obama will be nominated because “he provides for black youth in this country a male role model that’s not connected to some wacked out rap music thing.” Well, not all rap music is “wacked out,” and surely there are other positive black male role models out there. Still, in his hopelessly out-of-touch, middle-aged white-guy-politician way, Tancredo is sort of endearing.
